Sun Dong, an alumni ofthe1985classmajoring in mechanical equipment maintenance, currently servesas the director of the training center atLubeiTechnical College. In 1983, Sun Dong studied textile machinery at the Huimin District Technical School at that time. He graduated in 1985 and was admitted toour college with the highest score in the city. At that time,our collegeheld the first national advanced vocational class, which only enrolled 41 students inShandong Province. He was the only successful candidate in Binzhou City and returned to work at Binzhou Technical College(now known as Lubei Technical College)after graduating in 1987.

In 2004, he was awarded the titles of "Skilled Technician of Binzhou City" and "Technician with Outstanding Contributions of Binzhou City". In 2006, he was selected as the Chief Technician of Binzhou City. In 2008, as the head of the college's training center, he led his team to complete the research and development of teaching instruments and the upgrading of technical equipment inhis college. He also developed and improved PLC teaching instruments, which are more suitable for practical teaching compared to similar devices on the market. In the same year,he was rated as the Chief Technician of Shandong Province, one of the only 16 people inBinzhou City. In 2012, he enjoyed the special government allowance issued by the State Council. In 2013, he was awarded the honorary title of "ModelWorker of Binzhou City".
