The 5th “Harmony. Healthy Cup” Faculty Table Tennis Tournament was held by the college at the Changqing Campus on November 6th-8th.
During the opening ceremony of the competition, Li Huputy Secretary of the Party pointed out in his speech that organizing the faculty table tennis competition is not only a practical action to respond to and implement the national National Fitness Program Outline but also aims to further enrich the cultural life of faculty members during their leisure time. Furthermore, it enhances the cohesion and solidarity among the staff, and motivates them to engage in the development of the college with higher morale, more vigorous energy, and a fuller attitude, so that positive contributions can be made to the high-quality development of the college!
This edition of the competition was organized by the college’s trade union and hosted by the Faculty Table Tennis Association, including men’s doubles and mixed doubles events. After several rounds of competition, Zhen Wenbo and Liu Gang from the Teaching Management Branch, Gan Bo and Chang Tao from the Business Management Department Branch Wang Shuai and Li Chuanbo from the Intelligent Manufacturing Department Branch won the men’s doubles championship, runner-up, and second runner-up respectively. Zhao Ling and Ma Xinqing from the Information Engineering Department Branch, Liu Changhui and Han Huaichuang from the Technician Department Branch, and Yang Yiqun and Li Zhen from the Business Management Department Branch won the mixed doubles championship, runner-up, and second runner-up respectively. However, Sun Zhongzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Ren Hongliang, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Zhang Qingqing, Chairman of the Trade Union, presented trophies and prizes to the champions, runners-up, and second runners-up, and took a group photo with the award-winning players and all organizing committee members.
During the competition, the faculty participants were full of spirit and enthusiasm, and creating an active atmosphere, to display a high level of table tennis skills and fully demonstrate the optimistic, lively, and hardworking demeanor of the faculty. In addition, the event also achieved its goal of prioritizing friendship over competition and showcasing style and grace. Next, the Faculty Table Tennis Association will actively organize table tennis activities to enrich the leisure life of faculty members and enhance communication among them. To make a positive contribution to the high-quality development of the college, these activities will also be integrated into the creation of a spiritual civilization organization at the college!
